Are you looking to connect with God? He's looking to connect
with you! It doesn't matter where you've been or what you've done, God
wants you to experience peace and joy in your life. John 3:16 is a
beautiful expression of how much God wants to have a relationship with
you:
John 3:16
God...The One who made you with a purpose.
so loved the world...Everyone, including you.
that He gave...Giving is a sign of love. God loves you.
His one and only Son...Jesus Christ, the way to God.
that whoever...Whoever means anyone, including you.
believes in Him...Not knowing about Him, but accepting Him as the boss
of your life.
shall not perish...To be separated from God both here and in the
afterlife.
but have eternal life...To be united with Him here now and also enjoy
Him forever.
To connect with God,
pray this prayer:
God, I admit that the
things I have done wrong in my life have broken my connection to you.
I believe that Jesus died on a cross to take away my sin and connect
me to you. Please forgive me, God, and give me new life. I turn my
life over to the leadership of Jesus, your Son, and trust him for my
eternity. Amen.
