What kind of church is
White Chapel? We are purpose driven. All kinds of things drive
churches: spiritual gifts, money, buildings, personalities, and many
others. We want to be driven by what we believe are God’s purposes
for His people.
In Matthew 22 & 28 Jesus
gives the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. In those two
scriptures are some basic purposes of the church: Fellowship, Discipleship,
Ministry, Outreach, and Worship. Being balanced
on the purposes of God produces church health, and healthy churches
grow. People matter to God, and people matter to us. Wherever you
are in your spiritual journey, at White Chapel you will
find the help and support to become all that God has purposed you to
be. Love, acceptance,
and inner peace... God wants to bless your life through White Chapel.
White Chapel feels like
family...
White Chapel has that
“at home” feeling. You feel it as soon as you walk in the doors of
the church. Our family has made new friends here - friends we can
count on to help us when we need it... and the children and youth
programs are great!
You can come and be
yourself...
At White Chapel is on a
road to becoming closer to God and more like Jesus. The atmosphere
and dress are casual. You can be yourself, relax, and make new
friends in the process!
The sermons feel like they are “just for us”...
The worship services at
White Chapel always give us something to talk about when we go
home. The sermons help us understand God’s Word and inspire us to
live better lives. We are
encouraged to use
our gifts and abilities to serve others, and we get a sense
of purpose and fulfillment when we do!
